2018 Blessing Walk & Carnival
Building a multicultural community church
Through continual prayer and reflection, we seek confirmation from God to build a healthy, biblical community with people who are growing in holiness and multiplying disciples, leaders, groups and churches.
Our Mission Statement
The mission of MPCC is to reveal that God’s call to all people brings wholeness through the forgiveness and holiness in Jesus Christ, and to also equip disciples and train all those who respond in faith for the ministry.
Our Core Values
As people of Wesleyan persuasion, MFMC emphasizes on living a holy life to the glory of God, where one will: “love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and love others as much as we love ourselves” (Mark 12:30-31) and “go to the people of all nations and make them disciples of Jesus.” (Matthew 28:19) We adhere to Paul’s teachings, ”Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2)
To know God and to glorify Him by making Him known to all people. We will strive for this by establishing district cell groups to nurture the spiritual lives of the congregation while building strong relationships through love, peace and compassion. All this culminates to worship, (Love the Lord with all your heart), Ministry (Love your neighbor as yourself), Mission (Go and make disciples through care and build connection of our community), Fellowship (baptizing them), Discipleship (train them to obey).
In order to fulfill our vision, mission and purpose, we plan to establish a multicultural community services center and a crosscultural missionary centre. When Jesus was taken up into heaven, he told His disciples: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Act 1:7-8). Therefore, MFMC passionately undertakes this mandate to evangelize locally and globally through world missions until Jesus returns. MFMC believes that God has called his people to be a blessing to all nations of the world and spreading the gospel is a primary responsibility for the Church. In answering this call, MFMC is planning to build a multi-complex building (which comprises 2000 seats in the missionary conference centre, operational center and motel of 30 rooms for visiting missionary ministers) with the purpose of awakening a deeper understanding of missions and to mobilize Christians at an international level for world missions. MFMC will also partner with a variety of international missions organizations to act as a cross-cultural network facilitator. This involves the providing of resources, training and ministries in order to fulfill our vision to establish a clear call to the Body of Christ for the training, support and sending out of missionaries by local churches. As part of this vision, MFMC has established a unique network of local churches with a focus on the least and Unreached People Groups in various world regions.
